The Castelsarrasin handball club organized and successfully completed the end of the 2024 season and the start of 2025 in a festive and friendly spirit during a gathering on Saturday January 4.
A club where the general, administrative and financial functioning has been ensured by an exclusively female office for a year: Marie-Odile Évard (president), Alexandra Bras, Sandra Gélis, Marianne Boffa, Isabelle Gervais, Lorna Perryman. The board of directors still includes six men responsible purely for the sporting side (coaches, guides, etc.). And it should be noted that everything is going well. Everyone has their place in this club which currently has 150 members divided into different categories: babies, under 11 years old, under 16 years old, under 18 years old, seniors and leisure.
Each team competes, while the youngest are involved in tournaments, because the team events are less organized. And the team results are, in general, a reflection of the qualities of the different players and consistent with training.
But it should be noted that everything is done in a spirit that satisfies the club, which everyone welcomes. It was enough to go to the Flamens gymnasium last Saturday to realize that everyone, children, teenagers, adults, seniors, boys, girls, men, women, were there to spend a sporting and relaxing afternoon around various games, including, of course, handball. Everything was about relaxation and fun in this sports festival. Which confirms the atmosphere that reigns within the club, a prelude to a joyful season, full of friendship and sporting exploits for all.
