This Sunday, January 5, TF1 topped the audiences with an action film, “The Fall of London”. The feature film directed by Babak Najafi and released on the big screen in 2016 held people in suspense 4,15 millions of viewers. This corresponds to 21,6% of the public present in front of their television. On the target of women responsible for purchasing aged under 50 (FRDA-50), TF1 is the leader with 27,4%. The 2h30 feature film, which looks at the filmmaker’s family history, won on average 1,91 million of viewers. 11,3% of the public aged 4 and over and 6,1% of Women responsible for purchasing aged under 50 (FRDA-50), were captivated by this dive into the childhood of Steven Spielberg, played on screen by Gabriel LaBelle. Michelle Williams, Paul Dano and Seth Rogen complete the cast of this film with excellent reviews (4.9/5 for the press and 4.2/5 for spectators on Allociné) which attracted more than 917,000 moviegoers when it was released in theaters in February 2023.

M6 arrives at the foot of the podium with a new number of “Capital”, presented by Julien Courbet. The program entitled “Energy, car, housing: how to take advantage of falling prices?” was of interest 1,74 million of consumers, or 9,4% of the public. On the FRDA-50 target, the audience share climbs to 16,3%. The last issue, broadcast on December 15 and which focused on inexpensive festive meals, had a good score of 2.28 million viewers (12.2% of individuals aged 4 and over and 20.1 % of FRDA-50), which allowed the channel to come 3rd of the evening.

France 5 to the million

In the rest of the bonus offer, France 5 exceeds one million viewers thanks to its magazine “The 100 places you must see”. The first new issue of season 12, which set out to discover the Lot, took people on a journey 1,17 million of viewers, or 5,6% of the public and 1,5% FRDA-50s.
