For 33 years, WWE RAW has aired every Monday night and will continue to air that day on Netflix starting Monday, January 6, 2025. Recently guest on the SI Media podcast, Triple H revealed that WWE RAW could have changed days on Netflix. However, WWE and Netflix have decided to maintain the broadcast of RAW on Monday evenings.
Triple H tells us:
“One of the things that works best in WWE with Nick’s team [Khan]Lee Fitting and many others is that we are all thinking about the best way to do things. Let’s forget what we already have and look at the situation with new eyes and ask ourselves: ‘If we had to build everything from scratch, what would we do and how would we do it?’
We thought about Monday evening. Should you leave or stay on Monday? It is also a tradition of more than 30 years. You have to take that into account, just like the business model and everything else.”
We analyzed everything with our partners and decided that the best option was to stay on Monday. Yes, Monday has the NFL, but that’s not a big factor in many parts of the world. There were a lot of factors to seriously consider.”
