An artist name inspired by Vivienne Westwood

The Vivienne chose her stage name in reference to fashion icon Vivienne Westwood. Originally from Wales, she won Drag Race UK in 2019, and competed in the show’s All Star season in 2022. She finished eighth in the competition. The artist also participated in Dancing on Ice (equivalent of Dancing with the stars but in skating) and managed to get on the third step of the podium.

Drag Race UK judge Michelle Visage says she “heartbroken”: “You were always there, always laughing, always giving, always fair. Your laugh, your intelligence, your talent, your drag. I loved everything but I loved your friendship even more. »

Nicky Doll, queen of French drag, wrote on Instagram: “We lost one of our own today. Shine Viv, we miss you already. »
