NFL – At the end of NFL Week 18, the Tennessee Titans obtained the first pick in the next NFL draft.
It was a three-team fight that loomed on this final day of the regular season to know who would benefit from the first pick in the next 2025 NFL draft. Three teams were on the starting line to obtain this first pick before this final Sunday of competition: the New England Patriots, who had taken control of this choice since last week, the Tennessee Titans, who faced the Houston Texans, and the Cleveland Browns who were defeated by the Baltimore Ravens earlier this week 18.
In this little game, it was ultimately the Tennessee Titans who emerged “victorious”. Completely shut down by a Houston Texans team that didn’t have much to play for in this 18th week of competition, the Titans conceded their 14th defeat of the season and took advantage of the Patriots’ victory against the Bills. to get that first pick for the next NFL draft.
This is only the third time in history that the Tennessee Titans have obtained the first pick in an NFL draft. It is even, to be completely exact, the first time in history under the name of Tennessee Titans that the franchise obtains this first choice since the two previous ones in history had been obtained under the name of the Houston Oilers. Ironically, the Titans wore the Houston Oilers jersey during this week 18!
Now all that remains is to know what the Tennessee Titans will do with this first draft choice and whether or not they will choose a new quarterback to turn the page on Will Levis.
