No. I have no desire to spend time analyzing a meaningless competition. The Bills’ only incentive is the second-string showcase. As for the Patriots, the loss in value if they win or tie and don’t get the first overall draft pick is huge. After you, sir.

I want to watch Buffalo Joe and the Replacements this afternoon; watching players make the most of their limited opportunities is one of my favorite things about sports. I’ll even throw you a score: Bills 20 Patriots 13. The Patriots’ deterrence is strong. I’ll go with the chalk and predict that Reggie Gilliam will become the Bills’ 14th TD receiver of the season. I’ll give you the usual pre-game recommendations. Otherwise, a week off to be ready when the games count next week.

Food: Grilled lemon-garlic chicken breast with cheddar on a pretzel bun and fries from the new air fryer.

Beer: Samuel Adam’s cold snap… we’re finally experiencing it.
