The Boston-Toronto rivalry resumes

The duels between the Boston Bruins and the Toronto Maple Leafs never lack excitement, and that should be the case once again on Saturday at Scotiabank Arena (7 p.m. ET; CBC, SNO, SNP, NESN).

The Bruins (20-16-4) and Maple Leafs (24-13-2) are both in the top three in the Atlantic Division this season, meaning they could face off again in first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs, like last year. The Bruins won this series in seven games, after taking a 3-1 lead and losing Games 5 and 6.

The Bruins have lost three of their last four games, scoring just four goals during that stretch.

For the Maple Leafs, Auston Matthews has recovered from an upper body injury and will return to the game after missing six games. The center trained Wednesday and Thursday after aggravating an upper-body injury that caused him to miss nine games in November. The Maple Leafs went 3-3-0 without him in those six games.
