The Monitoring Commission of the Coordination Agreement between the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and LaLiga has decided not to grant the federation license to the players of FC Barcelona, Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor, which means that they will not will not be registered by the Blaugrana team and will become free agents.
“The Monitoring Commission agrees not to grant the prior visa nor the definitive license requested by FC Barcelona for the players Daniel Olmo Carvajal and Pau Víctor Delgado, according to the literal interpretation of articles 130.2 and 141.5 of the General Regulations of the RFEF, which prevent a player whose license is canceled from obtaining a license with the same club during the same season,” the two organizations said in a joint statement this Saturday.

LaLiga confirmed that the Catalan entity complied with “the requirements of economic control” of the competition from January 3, 2025, and therefore, the Budget Validation Body of LaLiga decided to increase the ceiling of the sports payroll .
