The Algerian influencer, also known as Bledard de Lux, is 29 years old. He is known to have a criminal record for driving without a license, BFMTV learned from a source close to the matter.
The search carried out at the home he shares with his twin brother, also placed in police custody, made it possible to find the clothes and the background used by Ould Brahim Imad for the video posted on the networks and relayed by the minister of the Interior.
Regularly registered in the National Foreigners Register
Ould Brahim Imad appears in a regular situation in the National Foreigners File (FNE). According to information from BFMTV, the Algerian influencer would be registered in the said file as having entered the national territory on December 17, 2021 with the mention “spouse of French”.
His application for a residence permit was also submitted as a French spouse on August 18, 2023. The investigation, however, closed the application with a refusal on the grounds of an Obligation to leave French territory (OQTF) not executed, according to information from BFMTV. The latter dates from June 2022, one year before his application for a residence permit which was refused.
Three requests for consular passes have been made, without success to date.
