Vinicius suffers racism again in LaLiga: insults revealed from Mestalla

The Real Madrid striker suffered racist abuse from the stands before his red card against Valencia.

Once again, Vinicius Jr. was faced with a barrage of racist insults during Valencia’s match against Real Madrid on Friday. The Brazilian footballer, who was sent off following an incident with Dimitrievski, had a confrontation with the Mestalla crowd during the match. Now, video clips have emerged, once again revealing the racism he suffers at different La Liga stadiums.

The images correspond to the moments preceding the red card that referee Soto Grado awarded him. Insults such as “monkey” and “fucking monkey” are clearly audible before and after Vinicius had a clash with the Valencia goalkeeper, an action which ultimately led to his sending off.

This time, Vinicius did not hear the insults inside the stadium. Two years ago, the Brazilian reported fans making racist attacks at him at the Mestalla, leading to the match being interrupted.
