Big change for Bruce Toussaint's morning show: the presenter explains himself and talks about his “obsession”

Who says new year, says new in the morning of TF1. During an interview for our colleagues from PuremédiasBruce Toussaint revealed that his show was going to be split into two from this Monday, January 6, 2025. He provided all the details to the media.

It was already a year ago. The first channel launched its morning show called Bonjour ! Bruce Toussaint was appointed to take charge of this new meeting. A year later, he and his team are still there. After a well-deserved holiday for the end of year holidays, everyone (except Ange Noiret who was unwell) was back. But TF1 viewers discovered a major change during the last forty minutes of the show. As Puremédias revealed it, a reorganization took place. “Starting this Monday, January 6, 2025, we will launch 'Hello & you'. 'Hello & you' is a magazine. So we let go of the news (only the reminder of the titles at 9 a.m. is kept, Editor's note) for the benefit of an offer of proximity, service and pleasureconfided Bruce Toussaint. Thus, from 8:50 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., the public will discover new subjects that recall those of 1 p.m. at your side.

The Bonjour & vous team revealed

What is the idea? To provide advice in areas relating to daily life, health, leisure, gardening, travel, nutrition and sporting activities“, continued the 51-year-old presenter. In this second part, he will be surrounded by columnists dedicated to these sections such as Stefan Etcheverry, Anaïs Grangerac, Julie Toméï, Pierre le cultivator and the doctor Vincent Valinducq. The latter will also keep his section health at 8:20 a.m., in Bonjour ! In this first part, we will also find Alba Ventura and Adrien Gindre for politics, Maud Descamps for the economy, Candice Mahout for culture and Julien Arnaud and Karim Bennani for decryptions. “This is really a new step in the sequencing of the show which we hope will be even clearer“, explained Bruce Toussaint to justify this change.

Don't panic for people who liked discovering the daily guest, he will always be present at the end of the show: “We want to integrate him into this last part and make him a super columnist. He will thus participate in our daily workshops, like the regional product cooking workshops that we are going to increase in view of their success with our viewers. In 'Hello & You', we will strive to be more in the movement and to leave the central table to favor places on the board that are too unused today for my taste.

A change to follow TF1's information offering

This editorial change also aims to follow TF1's information offering, as explained by Bruce Toussaint. “I am obsessed that viewers feel like they are on TF1 when watching this morning show. In Marie-Sophie Lacarrau's '13 Heures', Gilles Bouleau's '20 Heures' and Anne-Claire Coudray's weekend newspapers, you have special correspondents around the world who report on the current news . But these editions also contain a significant portion of reports devoted to daily life, leisure, escape and proximity. I would like to offer a product in this same line in the morning“, he concluded. It remains to be seen whether the public will follow.
