United States Steel Corporation is a steel producer. The Company operates through four segments: North American Flat-Rolled, Mini Mill, US Steel Europe (USSE) and Tubular Products. The flat-rolled products segment is involved in the production of slabs, strip mill plates, sheets and tin mill products, as well as all iron ore production facilities, pellet grade to direct reduction, pig iron and coke in the United States. The Mini Mill segment produces hot and cold rolled sheets, coated sheets and electrical steels. The USSE segment produces and sells slabs, strips, sheets, tinning products and spiral welded tubes. The Tubular segment produces and sells round tubes, seamless tubes and electrical resistance welded steel tubes (OCTG), as well as standard tubes, line tubes and mechanical tubes. It serves the automotive, construction, appliance, energy, container and packaging industries with high-value steel products such as XG3 advanced high-strength steel.
