Ivan Demidov has no intention of slowing down in 2025. The Montreal Canadiens prospect, all fired up these days, scored a breathtaking goal Friday morning (Quebec time) in the Continental League hockey (KHL).
The young SKA Saint Petersburg forward crossed the neutral zone before flouting two CSKA Moscow players in offensive territory. He concluded his maneuver by beating goalkeeper Ivan Prosvetov with a backhand. Watch in the video above.
Demidov extended his streak of games with at least one goal to five. And he didn’t stop there. Number 91 returned to the charge before the end of the first period by hitting the puck in flight.
Demidov comes back with his 2nd goal of the period! –
Curiously, SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg has been using it happily since the visit of the Montreal Canadiens contingent to Russia.
The CH jewel should arrive in North America next season, despite SKA’s multiple efforts to extend his contract in Russia.
