Alerted around 8:30 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to private land in Franconville in Val-d'Oise, in the immediate vicinity of the A15 motorway. A man who was near the scene at the time of the fire was taken into custody Thursday evening. He was drunk at the time of his arrest. The police's findings could only begin this Friday morning. People who live on the land are being interviewed. The investigations, carried out under the aegis of the Pontoise public prosecutor's office, were entrusted to the Organized and Specialized Crime Division (formerly judicial police) of Val-d'Oise.
