Nintendo’s next generation of consoles, widely dubbed Switch 2, is undoubtedly one of the most talked about new hardware releases. With everyone talking about it and numerous leaks and rumors that seem to have already shared almost everything.
Internal hardware, new features and even some of the games at launch. But Nintendo still seems reluctant to officially announce the console. So much so that many third-party accessory makers are eager for the console’s release, already announcing some of their accessories. And the risk of an unofficial Switch announcement at CES 2025.
Switch 2: Manufacturer Genki will share information at CES 2025
With CES 2025 just around the corner, some interesting news comes from accessory maker Genki (Human Things, Inc). He will participate in the event with a stand and a presentation of the company’s plans for 2025. Plans which, as the company shares, also include accessories for the Nintendo Switch 2.
The news was then shared by several users, revealing the date of Genki’s conference as January 7, 2025. Genki will be happy to discuss information regarding the Switch 2 as well as its upcoming products.
Nintendo and Switch 2: Speculation on the official announcement date
The Genki news and Nintendo’s apparent silence seem to speak volumes. Many are speculating that the Nintendo Switch announcement date is soon here. And that Nintendo could finally reveal the new console before January 7, 2025.
That said, you have to take this with a grain of salt. The type of information Genki could share might already be something Nintendo approved. We will therefore have to see what Nintendo’s next move will be, and if Genki will share something really concrete on this subject.
