Our prediction : Nice beats Rennes (2.20)
More than the victory of Nice, it is the defeat of Rennes that I predict this evening for the resumption of the French championship after the winter break! Indeed, the Bretons only took one point out of twenty-one possible away from home (six defeats, a draw in Brest and no success) during the first part of the season. On the other hand, the Aiglons are the only ones still undefeated in the French championship at home, with Paris-Saint-Germain. Franck Haise's men have only lost one match (in Lyon) in the last eleven days of Ligue 1 while the Bretons have fallen six times over the same period. Paris, Monaco, Auxerre, Toulouse, Lille and Nantes beat Rennes. I think Nice is capable of doing the same, as in the last two seasons (2-1 and 2-0) at the Allianz Riviera. For all these reasons, bank on the success of the Azuréens!
