We were on orange snow ice alert across the entire region last night, until at least 2 a.m. for the Oise and Somme and until 4 a.m. for the other departments.
Today, at low level, the northern half of the country finds itself under the influence of the warm sector of the disturbance that passed yesterday. A vast cold corridor linked to a depression over the British Isles extends its influence over France.
This morning and after last night’s slippery events, the morning is cloudy and rainy. The wind having strengthened during the night, it is moderate to strong from the southwest. We expect gusts of around 50 to 70 km/h inland and up to 80 km/h on the coast.
Cet afternoon, rains continue across the entire region. A lull at the end of the afternoon is expected in the southern half until the evening, then a resumption of rain. Cumulative amounts of around 7 to 15 mm, locally 20 to 30 mm in Boulonnais, the west of the Somme and Thiérache are expected over 24 hours. The wind continues to blow, moving further into the north of the region. Gusts of around 60 to 80 km/h in the northern half (even 90 km/h on the capes), 50 to 70 km/h elsewhere.

The minimums are 4 to 6°. 9 to 12 then.
Mardi, very cold air descends from the Atlantic over the north of the region. We are monitoring the issues, namely rain/snow/sleet showers. Improvement is expected in the afternoon. The accumulations leave traces of 3 mm, locally 7 to 15 mm on the Atlantic coast. The wind is moderate to strong from the southwest. Gusts blow between 40 and 60 km/h, 70 to 80 km/h on the coast. For theit minimal count 2 to 4°, Then 5 to 6° for the maximum.
WednesdayConditions are cyclonic and cold in the north of France. The issue to follow during this day is the management of precipitation which may have a snowy. The wind is light to moderate and we have 0 to 5° during the day.
