Director Jeff Baena, husband of American actress Aubrey Plaza, was found dead on Friday, according to several American media reports.
Mr. Baena died on January 3 at his residence in Los Angeles, according to medical documents seen by the media AND! News.
He was 47 years old.
The Los Angeles Coroner’s Office also confirmed this information to the media Variety.
In the evening, Saturday, other medical documents consulted AND! News indicated that Mr. Baena died due to suicide.
The director is known in particular for having directed the films Joshy (2016), Les petits Heures (2017) and Spin Me Round (2022).
He was married since 2021 to the actress Aubrey Plaza, who is known in particular for her roles in the series Parks and Recreation et The White Lotus.
The two Hollywood personalities met in 2011 and have since collaborated several times on the big screen, including recently for the film Spin Me Roundin which Aubrey Plaza plays a supporting role.
