At the New Year’s gala “Joko & Klaas against ProSieben” on January 1, 2025, Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf won against their employer and won a very special prize.
Joko and Klaas are allowed to rename ProSieben according to their wishes for a whole week. The desired name is: ProAcht.

ProAcht officially launched on January 2, 2025 in prime time after a short-term schedule change. Eight minutes after 8 p.m., or at 8:08 p.m., Joko and Klaas quickly resumed the current ProSieben program.
But instead of the 15 minutes of live broadcast, as usually seen after the winning editions of “Joko & Klaas against ProSieben”, the two hosts this time presented a short special broadcast on the station’s name change.
At 8:20 p.m., the presenter duo pressed the start button on the broadcast center – since then ProAcht has been broadcast live.

ProAcht: much more than a simple logo change
The station name change will take place during the campaign week with all visible and invisible consequences, according to the official press release on the successful launch of ProAcht.
“The name change to ProAcht is a gigantic project for our entire station,” explains Hannes Hiller, station manager of ProAcht.
“All programs that will be broadcast during the week have been screened in advance and dubbed with ProAcht. All trailers, ad dividers, station IDs, microphone protectors, legal notice boards as well as our online channels and press pages are now suitable for ProAcht.
Moreover, the name change does not only concern linear TV broadcasting.
“You can find the ProAcht live stream and the media library on Joyn. Our presenters welcome the audience to all ProAcht shows and magazines – from “Taff” to “Galileo” to “TV Total Promi-Wrestling”. We have the proacht.de website, e-mail addresses and even ProAcht teletext. Our entire team has adapted down to the smallest detail and is experiencing ProAcht this week,” explains the station manager.

Will ProSieben be called ProAcht forever?
ProAcht will be broadcast from now until after the broadcast of “TV total” on Wednesday January 8, 2025 at 8:15 p.m.
The name is then renamed to return to the original name of the station.
