RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (AP) — Defending Serie A champions Inter Milan continued to assert their supremacy over league leaders Atalanta with a 2-0 victory in the semi-finals. finals of the Italian Super Cup on Thursday evening.

In a surprising tactical choice, Atalanta started without key players Ademola Lookman, Charles De Ketelaere and Ederson, who all came on shortly after the hour mark. Ederson even had a potential goal ruled out for offside after a VAR check.
