What price for Bitcoin in 2025?
The games are on for 2025 with a promising year when it comes to crypto predictions. These should proliferate in this new year with a question that keeps coming up: what price for Bitcoin?
If the predictions announced a very wide variety of prices, here is the opinion of Polymarket bettors. As a reminder, the latter do not only contribute their conviction but also their money. Currently, these bettors are rather optimistic on January 1, 2025, hoping for an increase in Bitcoin prices.
A new ATH is already being considered with a 77% probability that a new record will take place before the end of June. Polymarket bettors are therefore optimistic and these probabilities could further increase if the price of BTC were to rise.
To visit a higher price, the probabilities sometimes remain high but gradually decrease. If the $110,000 should be acquired (87%), the $120,000 and $130,000 should also be just a formality (74% and 63%). Finally, for $150,000, the probabilities remain very interesting (40%). However, this still leaves room to go higher.
What to expect for the second crypto in the world?
For Ethereum, the year 2024 was not as bright. However, the second largest crypto in the world is used to great starts to the year, especially after the US presidential elections. Concerning the price of the ETH token, doubts still remain among bettors. According to the various open bets, the price could rise but not necessarily at the start of the year. If the probabilities are still low for a new ATH before the end of March (28%), they will increase a little by the end of June (47%).
However, for the year 2025 as a whole, there is much more optimism. The majority of Polymarket bettors are hoping for a price above $4,000 and $5,000 for this new year. While positive sentiment could further strengthen in the future, for the moment it is difficult to see higher.
Indeed, since if on the $6,000 side, 45% of bettors are confident, this confidence is shaken when we look at the higher level.
