A new year marked by bad weather in part of France. Météo-France forecasters have placed 35 departments on yellow alert for rain-flooding, for this day of Thursday January 2.
Are concerned: Calvados, Côtes-d’Armor, Eure, Eure-et-Loir, Finistère, Ille-et-Vilaine, Maine-et-Loire, Manche, Mayenne, Morbihan, Orne, Sarthe, Paris, Seine-Maritime, Seine -et-Marne, Yvelines, Essonne, Val-d’Oise, Oise, Aisne, Ardennes, Marne, Haute-Marne, Aube, Haute-Saône, Meuse, Meurthe-et-Moselle, Moselle, Vosges, Territoire de Belfort, Haute-Savoie, Doubs, Seine-Saint-Denis, Val-de-Marne, Hauts-de-Seine and Jura.
This bad weather is the direct consequence of the arrival of a depression, by the coasts of the Channel since Wednesday, January 1, also responsible for gusts which will sweep away 24 French departments placed on yellow alert for violent winds.
Note that 19 departments are affected by yellow snow-ice vigilance this Thursday.
