New performance of great consistency for the cross-country skier from Frasne on Wednesday in Toblach (Italy) during the 15 km classic pursuit of this Tour de ski.

Starting 20th, Rémi Bourdin played a large part of the race in a third car, behind the Norwegian leader Amundsen and a second echelon made up in particular of the Tricolores Desloge, Lapalus and the leader of the Tour de ski Johannes Klaebo.

“I had a good finish”

On the legs again, the Doubiste took 12th place in a large group of 8 cross-country skiers. Fourteenth in the end, satisfaction was evident again: “It was a superb race. We came back at one point not too far from the group of Mathis (Desloge) and Hugo Lapalus, I believed in it at one point. In any case, I had a good finish to get this nice 14th place. I can’t wait to continue this Tour,” admits the cross-country skier with a smile.

While four of the seven stages have been contested on this Tour de Ski, Rémi Bourdin continues to maintain his 16th place in the general classification, just 30 seconds behind the top 10.

Resting this Thursday and in transit to Val di Fiemme, the cross-country skier will be in his element from Friday with a classic sprint where he should do well again. The top 15 is at this price!
