So, before resuming the old Cubana barat 1 cours de la Liberté in Lyon at the beginning of 2024, to open L’Entourloupe, the Vernay brothers created Le Traquenard, at the end of 2022, five minutes on foot, at 39 cours de la Liberté: “It was a traditional brasserie with great potential, here too we practice simple, family cooking, dishes at lunchtime, tapas in the evening and the brasserie open from morning to evening.”

Lucas, a third Vernay brother, younger, became an employee of the holding company on both breweries.“In total, there are around fifteen people on the two cases”specifies Alexis Vernay.

On the plate, no fuss or pretense, we will have enjoyed a copious chicken burger with his homemade fries with Entourloupe and a succulent tiramisuall concocted by chef Damian Langman, a New Zealander who has lived in Lyon for 15 years.

At Le Traquenard, Ludovic Bertholier also keeps it simple and good: “We often have a football and rugby clientele on match days, home fries are our star productlaughs the chef. As for office customers, at lunchtime, they appreciate family plates: a Morteau sausage, oven-roasted potatoes, beef tartares…”

On the bar side (in moderation), we are spoiled for choice with 17 draft beers at Entourloupe, 14 at Traquenard and its Chartreuse specialty.
