Putting your words at the service of others
What if you were told that there is a local service that helps you write and revise letters, fill out various forms or even write biographies? The lover of words and the French language, Corine de Repentigny, has recently held the title of public writer. A job that allows him to lend his pen to people who are experiencing difficulties, or who have specific needs in written communication.

Paving the way for harmonious road cohabitation in Rivière-du-Loup
Through the hectic pace of daily life we develop little shortcuts, bad habits, which make us always more in a hurry. On the road, these behaviors result in shortened mandatory stops, excessive honking and even failure to give way at pedestrian crossings. A blatant lack of civic-mindedness denounced by Louperivois walkers, including Réal Proulx, who now fears crossing the street.

Time is running out for Whitefish
The coming weeks will be decisive for the next season of the Whitefish, the ferry which provides a maritime link between Témiscouata-sur-le-Lac and Saint-Juste-du-Lac. If no financial assistance is granted by the Quebec government, it could even be threatened and the boat could be forced to remain at the dock.

An artist at the service of beauty…and birds
In Saint-Guy hides the bird photographer, Michel April. No one sees him on the roads looking for the rare species that everyone strives to capture, nor sees him on the edge of the forests trying to capture the Great Horned Owl in his lens. He is simply at home, behind his house, in a small cabin specially designed to take photos of the passing birdlife in his little corner of the country.
