the essential
Rugby, table tennis, judo, Lyon ball and pétanque brought Lectoure to life in 2024 with titles and promises for the future.
Ball sports, gymnastics, cycling, dancing, caving, hiking, motorcycling, tennis: all year round, they keep Lectoure moving. Rugby, table tennis, Lyon ball and judo have made the city shine, beyond the borders of the department in 2024.
A shield and titles for the USL
The year 2024 will have given some great satisfaction to the leaders and supporters of the USL. As for the young people, they highlight the good behavior of the rugby school and the players in the various tournaments. The cadets were valiant despite their staffing difficulties. Three other major subjects were a source of satisfaction: the departmental shield for the senior team, the enormous success of the National Rugby 5s Final and finally, the major performance of the junior team, departmental and regional champion. These results are the reward for the Lectoure team, the majority of players coming from the rugby school and now playing in the senior team. The future is assured. These successes are due to the constantly renewed dedication of the club's volunteers and leaders.
The Lectourois table tennis club is growing
The year 2024 will remain marked by a record number of licensees, great performances from young people in full progress and very satisfactory results for the five teams from the Lectourois Ping Club entered in the championship.
Promising young people in judo
Four judokas from Lectoure took part in the Grand Prix des Minimes in Auch last November: Noah Téchiné, Sacha Rouffignac, Léa Cazaux and Mélanie Casas Yuste. Although they did not win a title, these four young people well represent the state of mind of the Lectourois Judo Club.
Boule Lyonnaise and Pétanque Lectouroise
Between interdepartmental competitions and quarter-finals of the departmental open club, the two clubs of Boule Lyonnaise and Pétanque Lectouroise are showing great momentum.
