This first day of 2025 will be no exception. This Wednesday, January 1, traffic conditions remain particularly difficult in Aveyron, with a significant risk linked to the presence of ice.
On the road networks in the north and center of the department, the presence of ice remains localized according to the Department's services. The latter particularly affects the areas of Saint-Geniez, Entraygues, Saint-Amans, Mur de Barres or even Sainte-Geneviève in the north of Aveyron, and Rodez, Laissac or Sévérac for the center.
For the rest of the department, the entire road network is concerned. The south and west of Aveyron are particularly affected by the presence of ice on the departmental roads.
A situation which obviously calls for greater caution, as departmental services remind us. The roadways are currently being treated.
