FC Barcelona announced on Tuesday that it has requested a new license from the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) to register players Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor, who must be registered with LaLiga before January 1.
Additionally, the Catalan club denied having “requested or received any moratorium from any other organization for the registration it seeks.”
The club intends to register Olmo and Víctor relying on the exploitation rights of part of the new VIP boxes at Spotify Camp Nou, which are expected to generate around 100 million euros.
LaLiga is still waiting for the club to complete all required documentation regarding new contracts and payment guarantees.
This operation, finalized by club president Joan Laporta in Dubai last week and activated after unsuccessful legal attempts to register the two players, should also allow Barça to return to the 1:1 rule of ‘fair play’ financial.

This means that Barça, in addition to ensuring the continuity of Olmo and Víctor in the first team, could operate at full capacity in the upcoming transfer market.
