More parking spaces near the city center, its traders, its market.
At the Herblay-sur-Seine bus station (Val-d'Oise), the park and ride now has 460 parking spaces, i.e. around a hundred new spaces recently.
Free from Friday from 6:30 p.m. to Monday at 8 a.m.
The park and ride remains chargeable during the week, with a subscription for Navigo Pass holders, but allows the possibility of parking for free for 1.5 hours from Monday to Saturday without subscription (between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. and beyond: €0.30 for 2 hours , etc., €6.50 for 8 hours).
On weekends, the park and ride is completely free (from Friday from 6:30 p.m. to Monday at 8 a.m.).
“This is the preferred parking lot on weekends. It is a practical alternative to barrier parking, in the heart of the city center, because it is free and has no time limit, just a seven-minute walk from the city center,” explains the municipality.
Other advantages are that the pitches are largely sheltered, with places reserved for two-wheelers, electric cars and people with reduced mobility. “Electric vehicle owners will soon be able to find new charging stations there,” specifies the City of Herblay.
Video monitored
Placed under video surveillance, it also offers physical reception during the week.
In the coming months, a new underground public car park will open opposite the station, under the building including a residence for the elderly, a supermarket and a doctor's office.
“This car park will be subject to the same parking rules as the above-ground car parks under barriers,” specifies the town hall. Or free for 1h30 then a ticket at 30 cents for two hours, 90 cents for three hours, etc.
