Nagui and Leïla Kaddour-Boudadi presented the “Bravos d’or” on Wednesday January 1, 2025, an awards ceremony not quite like the others. It indeed recognized winners designated by objective criteria, namely theatrical admissions for cinema, sales figures for books, downloads for streaming, Médiamétrie for television and radio audiences… “No results are subject to discussion, debate, connivance, lobbying or any influence whatsoever.“, assured the usual presenter of “Don’t forget the words”, promising “surprises“among the winners.
Confirmed success for Artus and “A little extra thing”
On the cinema side, there was none. Artus, who came to collect the trophy with the entire “Un p’tit truc en plus” team, won the prize. His popular comedy about disability attracted more than ten million spectators in theaters. The comedian took the opportunity to confirm that no sequel would prolong the success of this film ranked number one at the French cinema box office in 2024. On streaming platforms, it is the Parisian shark film, “Sous la Seine”, which stood out, with more than one hundred million views on Netflix worldwide. “HPI” also won the fiction side thanks to the 10 million fans of the adventures of Morgane Alvaro.
Pierre Garnier acclaimed by the public
On the airwaves, France Inter, a station where the two masters of ceremonies collaborate, won the prize for the most listened to radio station with more than seven million listeners per day, while the show debriefed the news football, “L’After Foot” was crowned in the podcast category. A usual powerhouse of TV audiences, the Enfoirés show also received two awards: that of the most watched television entertainment and that of the best-selling record. Finally, Pierre Garnier, winner of the eleventh edition of the “Star Academy” and media phenomenon, won the public’s vote as personality of the year. This was also the only category open to viewer votes.
