The new president of the province of the Islands is an independence activist from the Caledonian Union, also involved in the FLNKS, since always. A determined man who fights for his island, particularly during the conflict with the president of the province, Nidoïsh Naisseline, around the establishment of the provincial branch in Ouvéa in 1995.
Originally from the Wadrilla tribe, where the graves of the 19 militants who died during the assault on Gossanah Cave in 1988 are located, he was involved in the May 4 commemorations. In Ouvéa, he took care of the development of the oil mill and the repair of the wharf while he was president of Sodil, the development company of the province of the Islands. He also followed structuring projects, particularly in the area of social housing.
