Fans of Ladybug and Cat Noir can’t wait for season 6 of Miraculous. But their patience will eventually pay off, since the new chapter of their favorite cartoon has (finally) an American broadcast date. What about France?
Season 6 of Miraculous is kept as secret as the identities of Ladybug and Cat Noir, which annoys fans of the cartoon who are tired of chasing information. And it must be said that they have been waiting for the new episodes for a (very) long time! There season 5 was actually broadcast more than a year agoleaving a void in the hearts of lovers of Miraculous.
But, surprise, Disney Channel took the lead in putting an end to this interminable wait. The American channel published a post on Instagram, offering a schedule of their upcoming broadcasts. And fans of the cartoon had the joy of discovering the release date of season 6… which finally arrives earlier than expected !
2025 begins its year with the new adventures of Ladybug and Cat Noir from Miraculous
Season 6 of Miraculous has an American broadcast date. And while the new episodes were supposed to be released for the end of year holidays, they will finally land at the end of January 2025 ! In any case, this is what the calendar of the American channel Disney Channel announces.
So see you January 25, 2025 for the big premiere of season 6 of Miraculous ! And if season 6 was delayed, it’s because of the broadcasters who took time to agree for a publication date. “ The first batch of episodes will be ready shortly before Christmas. But it wouldn’t make sense to release them during this particular time of year. So I guess each broadcaster will figure out what the best timeslot is for them after that » explained Thomas Astruc on X, formerly Twitter. We can therefore hope that Disney Channel France will follow the American broadcast, and that it will also offer season 6 at the end of the month!
A season 6 already criticized by fans
If they are impatiently awaiting season 6, the latter is already not unanimous among the fans. They were indeed quite virulent about the new character design, since it is now a new animation studio that takes care of the graphics. Alya, Marinette’s best friend, therefore has a brand new physique, which has divided fans. The titles of the episodes of season 6 were also revealed, which caused a stir in the community Miraculous because some have pointed out a “ lack of imagination“. To be continued!
