Agde, engaged in a dual NPNRU and Action coeur de ville project, is trying to counter the loss of its priority district in the heart of the city. Having remained secondary to the seaside resort of Cap d'Agde for a long time, central Agde is slowly emerging from its torpor. Excavators are clearing large wastelands that we thought were frozen, businesses are being re-established little by little and public spaces will reconnect the city to its river.
