Milan Futuro have not had an ideal first half of the season, and some work on the squad will be necessary in the January window.
Kirovski has received the green light from the Rossoneri owners ‘to intervene decisively’ in the window to strengthen the Futuro squad with ‘at least 3/4 new signings’. The director has identified he wants to give Bonera a new central defender, two wingers and also a striker.
For the role of centre-back, the club have re-established talks over Giuliano Laezza, a 31-year-old at Vicenza. He was sounded out last summer but there were doubts regarding his physical condition, though now Kirovski intends to close the deal soon as possible.
One of the wingers that is admired is the Ivorian Momo Zoma. With AlbinoLeffe – the club that raised him from the youth sector – he has seven goals and four assists in the league, across 19 appearances.
For the role of striker, an experienced profile is being considered with three main candidates: Claudio Morra of Vicenza, King Udoh of Trapani and Andrea Magrassi of Cittadella. There is also strong interest in Davide Lamesta of Benevento, who has seven assists and three goals this season.
