“Great replacement”, “immigrationism”, “battle of civilization”… The words of the extreme right, and thus its racist obsessions, have invaded political and media debates thanks to an intense fight led by the fascist sphere and its found on the Internet. This coordinated, thought-out and interconnected ecosystem allowed these “ideas” to spread even in the media, with the support of Bolloré and his literally crusading henchmen. How many views turn into votes for the National Rally? How did we get there? Immersed in “pop fascism”, this extreme right-wing of minds which plays with the codes of popular culture online and infiltrates the era.

Maxime Macé and Pierre Plottu are journalists specializing in covering the far right and its radical margins. After several years as independents, they are now working to Liberation where they notably host the dedicated weekly newsletter Frontal. This book is their first work.
