For several years now, the artist “Comoriano” – author, composer and actor -, aged 34 and living in Reunion, began his career in Music. On August 8, 2023, the artist decided to launch his label called “Voix d’or family” in order to best disseminate his texts and produce other artists. Recently, the artist has taken several songs to remix them, notably “Jet Ski” which has had more than 126,000 views on social networks.
“I decided to cover Méryl’s music, simply because I was scrolling on the networks. I saw her music on and I loved the style, the vibe and the melody, I said to myself so why not make a remix of it,” says the artist.
Beyond this remix, Comoriano is also the composer of various music such as “Bubble” which has accumulated nearly 121,000 views, and “Dora” which has had nearly 177,000 views.
“When I see thousands of likes on my videos and I see 20 negative comments, I tell myself that there are songs that not everyone likes, but I prefer to focus on the positive,” underlines the singer.
– Comoriano, from one musical style to another –
It was in 2007 that Comoriano – who preferred to preserve his identity – became known to the general public thanks to a collaboration with DJ Skam during the 974 Music Awards for 974 Fever.
It was with coupe-décalé style music that Comoriano began his career as an artist. A style that is “all the rage” with the general public, the singer explains to Imaz Press.
Building on his success, the singer decided to continue in this musical universe for several years.
Tired of a “style of music that didn’t necessarily suit me”, the artist now makes his voice heard with a universe of music that suits him and ensures success with his fans. “I want to show who I am through another style, dancehall,” he says.
“For years I wanted to be what people wanted me to be, but today I want to be me and me above all,” Comoriano continues.
One thing led to another and he managed to make himself known overseas (Martinique, Guadeloupe, etc.) and in Mauritius.

Having grown up in music with a musician father, the singer started in music at the age of 12 when he was in middle school.
Born on Reunion soil but being of Comorian origin, this artist never stopped thinking about his name, thinking about its meaning, but also about the message he wanted to convey.
“It was very hard for me to find my place in music and even my name,” he confides. “To be born in a place where Comorians are often criticized and to have origins that I do not know.”
“I wanted, through my stage name, to bring together both the Reunionese but also the Comorians. I really wanted, by taking this name, to create solidarity and a coming together between these two islands.”
For the moment, the singer has not planned any concerts, but he intends to carry out collaborations with other artists in order to mix energies and bring together all his fans, whatever their origin.
