The end of 2024 also marks the end of the weekly AEW Rampage show.

As mentioned on Catch-Newz, Tony Khan announced to fans during the Rampage tapings on December 27, 2024 that this was the last show. But how was AEW going to make the announcement once the show aired?

On the December 27, 2024 AEW Rampage, this Tony Khan segment did not air, but instead it was Jon Moxley who ended Rampage. Indeed, the AEW World Champion showed up in the control room to declare that he was cutting AEW Rampage off the air following the chaos at the end of the show. This is the price to pay for those who tried to attack him. A show which ended in a fight between the AEW roster after the words of Jon Moxley:

The first AEW Rampage took place on August 13, 2021. A show which was in its Friday evening time slot after WWE SmackDown. With the new deal between Warner and AEW, Warner has made the decision not to renew Rampage.

Rumors spoke of a possible new agreement between FOX and AEW for a new TV show that could replace Rampage, but nothing has been made official yet. AEW will start 2025 with only two weekly shows instead of three.
