Lazio coach Marco Baroni is expected to pick Loum Tchaouna, Valentin Castellanos and Mattia Zaccagni among his team's front three to end Atalanta's daunting 11-game winning streak in Serie A.
Kick-off will be at 8:45 p.m. CET (7:45 p.m. GMT) at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
The two teams meet in a high-profile clash that could either further bolster La Dea's title-winning ambitions or allow their pursuers to catch up.
For such an occasion, Baroni is expected to stick to the 4-3-3 system he has recently switched to, with Fisayo Dele-Bashiru set to complete his side's midfield trio alongside Mateo Guendouzi and Nicolò Rovella .
Centre-backs Mario Gila and Alessio Romagnoli will team up in the Biancocelesti defence, tasked with containing the in-form Charles De Ketelaere and Ademola Lookman, who will start ahead of the visitors following news of Mateo Retegui's injury.
Premier League target Ederson will play in midfield alongside Marten De Roon, while Davide Zappacosta is likely to replace Matteo Ruggeri at left-back after the latter was not called up due to a slight foot injury.
