Laurentians over 70 years old had an appointment for the traditional seniors' banquet offered by the municipality and the Communal Center for Social Action (CCAS) in the Latécoère space of the multipurpose room. This year, no less than 400 people registered to take part in this always highly anticipated gastronomic and festive day. Welcomed by Laurence De Besombes-Singla, the mayor, her deputies and the municipal council, the guests were enthusiastic about the decorations of the room provided by the city's technical service. On stage, Pascale Pelous, deputy and president of the CCAS, welcomed the participants, before paying a little emotion to Alain Got, the late mayor. She addressed her “thanks” to the people who worked for the organization of this meal (in particular the agents who provided the service), entrusted to a large table Le clos des Lys de Perpignan and its chef Franck Séguret. On the show side, it was up to par and provided by the Ladies Sensations troupe who presented their revue Olympe, a very popular cabaret revue. This festive and gourmet day continued until late in the afternoon, leaving everyone with the memory of a wonderful time spent in a friendly atmosphere.
