Falling debris from a Ukrainian drone disrupted rail transport in the Voronezh region.

MOSCOW, Dec. 28 (Xinhua) — Falling debris from a Ukrainian drone disrupted rail transport in the Voronezh region, Governor Alexander Gusev said on his Telegram channel on Saturday.

He said Russian air defense and electronic warfare systems neutralized more than ten Ukrainian drones in Voronezh suburbs and neighboring districts. According to initial information, there were no casualties.

In one district, drone debris damaged overhead power lines, causing a train to be delayed, and further delays are expected.

In response, the South Eastern Railway set up a special team to expedite the repair work. Emergency crews are actively addressing damage at the site to restore normal operations.
