“I find it wonderful, it feels like we’re flying away while singing”, the Chœur d’enfants de Bretagne takes part in the “best choir in France” program.

This December 27, around thirty young people aged 8 to 14 from the Brittany children's choir will try to win the show “the best choir in France”, presented by Cyril Féraud on France 3 from 9:05 p.m.

There will be ten choirs trying to win the “best choir in France”. All from ten regions of mainland France and Overseas. All styles are represented with rock, disco, gospel, lyrical or variety.

“I find it wonderful, you feel like you’re flying away while singing all the songs”summarizes Solène, 10 years old. “I experience it as a sharing of everything we love, of all the love of Christmas that we give to the public”assures Charlotte, 13 years old. This winter, the children of the choir notably had the opportunity to sing during Christmas concerts such as in the church of Baden in Morbihan.

This choir was created in 1985, before being closed for around ten years, to reopen in 2019. The children's choir of Brittany is participating for the first time in the France 3 broadcast. The opportunity to meet other young people sharing a common passion. An unexpected encounter, especially with young people from the Ile-de-France region. “As the days went by, they met and became very good friends. This is the magic of choral singing”explains with a smile Jean-Michel Noël, choir director of the Chœur des Enfants de Bretagne.

The public is delighted. “The Christmas carols sung by the children are superb! »exults a first spectator. “Even if we don't have our child in the choir, we can't come out of a concert like that unscathed.
