Playing and watching Football on Boxing Day is a tradition as old as football itself, dating back to the 19th century, and the Premier League doesn't stop: eight matches will be played on 26 December, some even back-to-back .
The action will begin at 12:30 GMT with one of the most anticipated matches of any Premier League matchday: Manchester City v Everton. Pep Guardiola's team is experiencing an unprecedented crisis, currently seventh in the table, with two defeats and a draw in the last three matches. Their hopes of winning titles are almost over, but they need to turn the situation around.
At 3pm GTM, five matches will be played back-to-back. It will be a buffet for football fans, but it doesn't end there. There will be two more matches, with some of the highest profile teams under the spotlight: Manchester City v Everton at 17:30 GMT and Liverpool v Leicester City at 20:00 GMT.
