In recent years, Marcus Rashford has become one of Manchester United’s most important players as he always shows his extraordinary talent and will on the pitch, but he has struggled to find form of late. Often featuring in crucial matches, Rashford has become an important weapon in the team’s attacking lineup with his explosive speed and precise finishing, but he is trying to find his best form, which has raised a big question about his future with Manchester United.

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim said on Wednesday the club needed players like Marcus Rashford after the striker reportedly said he was ready for a new challenge.

Rashford was left out of United’s squad for the 2-1 win over Manchester City on Sunday.

This has led to widespread speculation about his future and Rashford opened up about the possibility of leaving in an interview on Tuesday.

“For me, personally, I think I’m ready to take on a new challenge and take the next steps,” Rashford said as quoted by journalist Henry Winter in an article on X. “When I leave, there will be no hard feelings.” . ‘”

Amorim was diplomatic when asked if he wanted to keep Rashford at the club.

“Of course, because this type of club needs great talents and this is a great talent,” he said at the press conference. “So he just has to perform at the highest level and that’s my goal. I just want to help Marcus.

Rashford, 27, is under contract until 2028.

He graduated from United’s famous academy, which produced many of its greatest players such as Bobby Charlton, George Best, Ryan Giggs and David Beckham.

But he has struggled to find form since signing his new contract in 2023, scoring just eight goals last season and losing his place in the England squad.

He has scored three goals in six games since Amorim’s arrival in November but was substituted after 56 minutes in his last appearance against Viktoria Plzen last week and then left out of the squad against City.
