ROME (ITALPRESS) – Red Bull has chosen Liam Lawson. The day after the announcement of the divorce from Sergio Perez, the Austrian team made official the hiring for 2025 of the young New Zealand driver who will join Max Verstappen.
Having joined the Red Bull Junior Program in 2019, Lawson made his Formula One debut in 2023 with AlphaTauri in the Dutch Grand Prix replacing Ricciardo, scoring his first points in the following race in Singapore.
