[Deal du jour] The Pro model is the latest boosted version of the Sony console. Offered at a rate salty, this improved PS5 is finally benefiting from a great promotion thanks to this promo code.
What is this promotion on the PS5 Pro?
During Black Friday, e-retailers were rather timid regarding promotions on Sony’s new PS5 Pro, offering at most €10 reduction in certain packs. But as Christmas approaches, it’s back in force with a much more interesting reduction: €50 off on Cdiscount thanks to the code PS5PRO50.

What is this PS5 Pro?
Released early last month, the PS5 pro is quite simply the most expensive series console of all time. Launched at €799, this new version of the PS5 promises much greater performance than the previous generation.
In appearance, it does not differ greatly from the Slim model. However, it still sees the addition of three black bands on each side, compared to only one for the Slim model. Where the model takes on another dimension is more under the hood. The configuration of the latter integrates a more powerful GPU as well as a boosted CPU. Concretely, this version allows you to perfectly enjoy the latest AAA titles in good quality and with much greater fluidity. However, you must make sure you have a sufficiently efficient 4K screen with an HDMI 2.1 port, particularly to support high framerates.
Another big news, although controversial: the new PS5 is now only available in a digital version. The disk drive has been permanently removed. For players with a collection of physical games, it is nevertheless possible to acquire a compatible external disk drive, sold separately by Sony for around €100. However, this price, already significant, is added to that of the console, making the whole thing particularly expensive. In addition, this accessory remains difficult to find at its original price due to the speculation surrounding it. For players who favor dematerialization, be aware that the console has 2 TB, compared to 1 TB for the old model. This allows you to be relatively comfortable and will not necessarily require the addition of an additional SSD if your collection is not huge.
At this price, is this new PS5 a good deal?
We wouldn’t go so far as to say that €750 is a good price for a home console. But if you don’t have a PS5 yet and your budget allows it, then this is currently one of the best prices seen on the most powerful console of the moment.
A reduction of €50 on the bill also allows you to buy an additional DualSense controller or a nice game to keep you busy during the end-of-year holidays.
