“Eve, get up and dance with life,” sang Julie Pietri. Eve Gilles, Miss France 2024, may well have heard the “echo of the voice” of the star singer of the 1980s. And for good reason, the one who handed over her crown of Miss France, Saturday evening, to Angélique Angarni- Filopon, Miss Martinique, could well continue to grace TF1 in her successful show “Dancing with the Stars”. 20 Minutes takes stock of a rumor that may no longer be a rumor.
“So excited to get started”
It all started with a rumor launched on the evening of the Miss France 2025 election. Remember, Fauve Hautot, member of the jury of the beauty contest and “Dancing with the Stars”, declared to Eve Gilles one: “ Welcome to the adventure.” The former Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais then did not hide her emotion, suggesting that dancing has always been a dream for her.
From dream to reality? After days of rumors, particularly on social networks, Eve Gilles commented on the possibility of joining the cast of the program hosted by Camille Combal. On her networks, the 21-year-old young woman posted, on Tuesday, “So excited to get started”, commenting on an article from one of our colleagues announcing her participation in the TF1 show. The same day, Eve Gilles responded to one of her subscribers on Instagram: “I feel ready to start new adventures. » A new step for the one who had given dance lessons to young people in the past.
A fifth name in the casting?
The cast of “DALS” is emerging, little by little. TF1 has formalized, for now, the participations of Olympic champion swimmer Florent Manaudou, actress and director Charlotte de Turckheim, former OM footballer and 2018 world champion Adil Rami and the revelation of the “Star Academy” 2023, Lénie Vacher.
For those who have followed the flagship program on the front page for years, you know that “DALS” is very often associated with the Misses. Thus, during season 9, Iris Mittenaere, Miss France 2016, lost in the final of the show to Clément Rémiens. The other misses who participated in the show are:
- Valérie Bègue, Miss France 2008 (season 2)
- Laury Thilleman, Miss France 2011 (season 4)
- Sophie Vouzelaud, runner-up to Miss France 2007 (season 6)
- Sylvie Tellier, Miss France 2002 (season 7)
- Elodie Gossuin, Miss France 2001 (season 8)
- Linda Hardy, Miss France 1992, (saison 10)
- Amandine Petit, Miss France 2021 (season 12)
- Diane Leyre, Miss France 2022 (season 13)
A long tradition perpetuated by Eve Gilles? The ball is in TF1’s camp.
