A new patch is available for Disney Dreamlight Valley with free content including a character from a cult animated film, rewards and even features.
In accordance with the roadmap presented last October, Disney Dreamlight Valley is rolling out a big new update with free content for everyone. “We hope you're ready to bond with a new villager, dive into a Freezing Starpath, and discover all-new features and improvements” summarizes the game's official website. If you can't wait to know what's new in this update, here are the additions available now.
New Disney Dreamlight Valley update available
The new update Charming from every angle from Disney Dreamlight Valley is available on all platforms. What's new ? As promised by the roadmap, Sally, the heroine of the cult animated film The Nightmare Before Christmas, is one of the characters announced a few weeks ago. This addition is accompanied, as always, by new quests and friendship rewards linked to this work.
There is also something new for the Starway season with the arrival of the“Cold and Fairies” event dans Disney Dreamlight Valley. “Give your villagers their favorite gifts, eliminate Nightthorns, and complete missions as a fairy monarch in your domain”. If successful, you will get in return a harp of ice and sparkling silk, a frozen throne, crystal decorations and unique fairy clothing. The Premium Starpath also offers its rewards upon completion, including an Enchanted Winter Cottage dream style.
Finally, the Charming from every angle update gives you additional inventory in the daily rotations of the Scrooge Store, as well as optional content in the weekly rotations of the Premium store this time. But that's not all because new features, some of which come from the community, have appeared.
New events and features
The Disney Dreamlight Valley Charming Update brings free content and brings back festive events. Here are the dates to note on your calendar so as not to miss them:
- The Pleasure of Giving from December 18 to 31, 2024: festive gift wrap makes its debut in the Picsou Store. A resource that can be used to make holiday furniture
- Want to make a snowman? From December 18 to 31, 2024, the Offering Esplanade contains the first step to completing this special quest
- Gifts will be distributed under the Tree from December 25 to 31, 2024 when visiting the Castle of Dreams
This December 4, 2024 patch enriches Disney Dreamlight Valley with new features including “Best DreamSnaps” to discover the three best images from each weekly challenge. You can enjoy it on all platforms… except on PS5 and PS4. Indeed, because of certain “rules and standards”PlayStation players are not allowed to do so.
The Disney Dreamlight Valley community also influenced three additional features:
- Added new language options with Brazilian Portuguese for Disney Dreamlight Valley Charming in every way, A Rift in Time, The Storybook Vale
- Four unique locations have landed with the Floating Islands
- Implementation of 16-point Rotation to have more possibilities in the placement of furniture, decor elements and resources
