Booder, who joins the jury of the show “Incroyable Talent” for one evening, is always full of surprises! But what do we know about the private life of the 46-year-old actor, modest by nature?
Booder, who will exceptionally take on the role of judge in the show Incredible Talent this December 4 on M6, has won the public’s love for years thanks to its capital sympathy, its humor and its simplicity. But what do we really know about the private life of the Franco-Moroccan actor?
Booder, as a couple and dad?
Booder may not be tight-lipped, but he very rarely opens up about his private life. “It’s my secret garden. I also don’t want to give details about my love life. I’m quite modest actually. Off stage, I’m not Booder the comedian“, he declared to Public.
The comedian has been in a relationship for years, but he has never wanted to reveal the identity of the woman who shares his life. The actor is also the father of a young teenager whom he does not expose either. However, in Publiche agreed to reveal that his son had been confronted, like him, with several health problems: “I focused on him, especially since he had repeated bronchitis. At the time, I saw my life go by, convinced that, like me, he would spend his childhood with lung problems.“.
“My son doesn’t find me funny”: Booder reveals his regret as a father
Remember that when he was born, in 1978, the comedian was struck by very acute bronchiolitis. Born in a Moroccan village, where doctors “didn’t know about this type of illness. and had announced to his mother that hewouldn’t survive the winter“, Booder defied the odds and survived.
As for his notoriety, his son seems to live it well! “Already, he doesn’t find me funny, he doesn’t understand why people laugh“, he said at the microphone of RTL. The comedian’s only regret? He is not available enough to be regularly alongside his offspring: “When I go to do shows, I come home in the evening, he’s sleeping. In the morning, I wake up early with him to have breakfast and spend a little time with him, but I don’t see him often“.
Where does Booder live? “I’m still a tenant.”
Remaining faithful to his roots, the actor seen this year in The Nanny on TF1, who grew up in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, still lives there. “I didn’t grow up in poverty, that would be disrespectful to my parents… I’m still a tenant, I still live in the neighborhood where I grew up“, he confided to the microphone of RTL.
Although today Booder can make a living from his profession as a comedian, he experienced a precarious situation for a long time. “After ‘Beur sur la ville’ (film released in 2011, editor’s note), what people don’t know is that I didn’t work. I didn’t have any inspiration, I didn’t write“, he confided before revealing that he even received the RSA even though he was known to the general public: “There was a little moment of desert and I found myself at the RSA. It was funny because when I went to the RSA, people took photos with me in the street without knowing where I was going“.
