Saturday December 7, 2024, the Fouesnant Archipelago, between Quimper and Concarneau (Finistère), hosts the show Dreams not Cirque International.
This troupe brings together young artists from the National Circus School of kyiv (Ukraine). Dreams was created in exile.
It is the testimony of a youth overthrown by a warlike conflict. Each artist on stage tells in their own way, through their discipline, the dream they had before the invasion of Ukraine.
“Youth, friendship”
Dreams is a show about youth, friendship and the happiest moments of life that every Ukrainian experienced before the full-scale invasion, says director Roman Khafizov. The play also presents the symbolism, folk traditions, soul and indomitability of the Ukrainian people.
The seven solos of the show are part of the traditional circus apparatus: juggling, acrobatics, smooth rope, balance…
They demonstrate a classicism, technicality and precision specific to the Ukrainian circus.
Saturday December 7, 2024, at 8:30 p.m., at the Fouesnant Archipelago (Finistère). Prices: from €8 to €24. Reservation: tel. 02 98 51 20 24 or via the website (archipel-fouesnant.fr).
