At 37 years old, Guillaume Kasbarian has become a leading political figure. At the start of 2024, the man who was a deputy for the 1st constituency of Eure-et-Loir was appointed Minister Delegate in charge of Housing. And if the dissolution left many disappointed, Guillaume Kasbarian for his part transformed this phase of political instability into promotion, with a post of Minister of the Civil Service in the Barnier government.
Upon his arrival, he worried the unions with his declaration in which he indicated that he wanted to “debureaucratize at all levels”. But this first outing, followed by numerous others, began to make him known to the French. Guillaume Kasbarian reveals his “country life as a couple”
The latter is called Antoine, is a former soldier, and is currently an airline pilot at Air France and a former soldier. The couple entered into a civil partnership in 2012, well before Guillaume Kasbarian took his first steps in politics. Since then, they have lived their love, despite ministerial responsibilities and media storms. It is in a house purchased in 2015 in Saint-Martin-de-Nigellesfar from the tumult of Paris, that the couple can recharge their batteries. Between a winter barbecue in the garden and a cellar under a walnut tree, the house exudes conviviality. Antoine, a former government plane pilot, first chose this region to be closer to Villacoublay, where he was based. Today, this place has become their refuge. “Our life as a rural couple is similar to that of our neighbors, and our love similar to that of many French people, explains the minister. You can be gay in Francelive in the countryside, love good food, good wine, barbecue… You have to be free to accept yourself.”
The decision to live their love out in the openwithout making it a fight, is a thoughtful choice. “If that frees some young people who are hiding or don’t dare to take responsibility, so much the better.
